As a part of the tour, we were able to ask Carly an interview question. Since the tour is running during Thanksgiving, I centered mine around that.
Stephanie: What are some of your
favorite Thanksgiving traditions?
Carly: Thanksgiving was always my favorite holiday, but we lost my dad last
year, and I have a hard time coming up with much enthusiasm for it,
even though it’s the second Thanksgiving without him. Still, we have
my family come to my house. I think the more people the better when it
comes to a holiday celebration. Nothing says Thanksgiving to me more
than Pecan Pie and Sweet Potatoes with marshmallows over them. :)
Thanks Carly! I can totally understand how tough it is to celebrate the holidays when you've recently lost a loved one. It's tough, but being around family definitely helps!
What are some of your favorite Thanksgiving traditions?
Holidays are difficult for us also as my SIL and hubby's aunt spent it every year with us for over 20 years. The both have since passed away and even after 8 years, we still have a hard time with it. This year we have my whole family here so it will be fully of family, love and fun!
