Blog Tour Review & Giveaway - All The Right Things - Audrey Harte

A very big thank you to Audrey for letting me be a part of the blog tour for All The Right Things. I really enjoyed both books in the series. My review is below as well as a giveaway to win an e-copy of All The Right Things.

In “Love in All the Wrong Places”, Annie tried her hand at online dating, but it brought her nothing but a broken heart. This girl can't seem to catch a break in the dating world! While wondering what went wrong once again, she met an attractive, funny and sincere hip hop dancer in the parking lot at work. But just as Casey expressed interest in taking her out, he had to leave town to tour the country with an up and coming pop star. Annie was willing to wait for him to return, but then she received an apologetic text from Nate, the last guy she met on Craigslist.

Join Annie on her adventures in “All the Right Things” as she makes some of the biggest decisions of her life. While she thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent with Nate and is still attracted to him, he screwed her and then ditched her at the bar without a word. Will Annie accept Nate’s explanation and his heartfelt apology and give him a second chance or will she kick him to the curb? Or will Casey’s charm and determination to show her how a real man should treat a lady win her over? Or will both of these guys be left in the dust when someone from her past reappears?

Do you want a fun, sexy read? Then Audrey Harte's Love In LA series is definitely for you. All The Right Things continues with Annie's dating dilemmas and her taking a chance to audition for a talent show to see if she has what it takes to pursue her singing career. When Annie is contacted by Nate after not hearing from him since he ditched her on their last date, she's not sure what to do. She has since met Casey, who she's attracted to and enjoys his company and is considering getting to know him better when he gets back into town. I love when I am reading a book and I don't know where it's heading. All The Right Things managed to keep me surprised. I knew who I wanted Annie to end up with, but I wasn't sure whether it would happen or not with Nate wanting another chance and Gabe popping up with some unexpected news. Throw in some fun best friends, romantic weekends, excitement over a possible new career and you've got one great read. I definitely recommend you add All The Right Things to your reading list.

After finally finding an amazing guy who sweeps her off her feet, will he prove to be everything she could have wished for and more or is he too good to be true?

Catherine has spent her life being the perfect princess. She’s kept her hands clean, her head down, and most importantly—men at arm’s length. After all, most men are after only one thing, and for Cathy there’s a lot more at stake than her bed; she has to worry about the fate of an entire nation. But at the rate she’s going, Cathy is afraid she’ll give the Virgin Queen a run for her money. She is tired of waiting for someone good enough to come along. She has a plan, and it all hinges on seducing the one man who seems utterly unimpressed by all things royal. The one man she is tempted by more than any other . . .

When David arrives at the royal wedding of his friend, the newly ordained Duchess Samantha Rousseau, he expected to feel uncomfortable and out of his element, but he wasn’t prepared to be targeted by Prince Alex’s gorgeous younger sister. With Cathy’s giant blue eyes, killer figure, and sense of humor, it won’t take long before he gives in. But when he finds out just how innocent the crown princess really is, will he play the part of knight in shining armor or the dashing rogue?

Walker sat on one of the stage steps, his chin in his hand as he spoke to the screaming crowd. “I need a volunteer for this next part.” His head raised slowly, his eyes scanning the crowd.

Keri jumped up and down like a crazy person, waving her arms and screaming his name. I laughed at her antics and sat perfectly still, not wanting to bring any more unwanted attention to myself.

Another tap on my shoulder caused my irritation to bubble as I turned to what was sure to be that annoying overly made-up stupid girl again.

It wasn’t.

I came face-to-face with a giant of a man wearing all black and holding a walkie-talkie. Intimidated, I took a half step back and looked around for Keri.

“Come with me.” His tone implied a demand, not a request, and I suddenly wondered what I’d done wrong. Who the hell was this guy? He’s not the boss of me. He’s not going to tell me to come with him and think I’ll just obey. I frowned and said quickly, “Uh. No, thanks.”

He flashed his VIP backstage pass in my face as if it were the only credential he needed. “Miss. It’s part of the show. Can you come with me, please? You’ll be onstage with Mr. Rhodes.”

Oh.

Well, s**t.

I guess he could be the boss of me, after all.

I shot Keri a surprised look before I quickly hauled off in the direction of an almost completely darkened backstage area. We walked through a black curtain before we were hit with lights and blaring music.

“I’m going to bring you onstage.”

“And then what?” I asked, suddenly nervous. Not to be around Walker Rhodes, but nervous at the thought of standing in front of thousands of screaming people with cell phones ready to record my every move.

I started to tremble. Afraid my legs wouldn’t hold me up any longer, I begged the security guy to help me out there. He smiled at me and gave me a little shove.

Thanks, you dick.

Next thing I knew, I was standing onstage, my face mere inches from Walker’s. Walker no-human-being-should-be-anywhere-near-this-gorgeous-in-real-life Rhodes.

I got fired from my last job. It's true. I know you're sitting there thinking, "Jenn, how could anyone in their right mind fire someone as amazing and awesome as you are???" And i'd love to give you a good reason, but the truth is... being This! Awesome! is clearly very scary to other less awesome people. :) So I said screw them and started writing my first book. And you know what I realized? Writing books that mean something to me is a million times better than working my ass off for someone who doesn't really care about anything other than the bottom line. My soul feels more satisfied. My heart, more full. So thank you for reading, loving and recommending the stories I write. I think you're awesome- and not only am I not scared of other awesome people, I want them on my team! Click HERE to read a post where I talk about how you all have changed my life. :)

Love Me is the second book in the Trust Series

*****NOTE: Contains spoilers if you have not read Trust Me, Book 1 in the series.*****

Have you met Damien Wales? If not, be sure to check out Kristen Mayer's Trust Series. Love Me is book 2 in the series and is the continuing romance of Damien and Allison Scott. The story picks up where Trust Me left off, right after Damien and Allison become engaged. As Damien and Allison settle into their new life, planning their wedding and being together, they learn that there is a threat out there that is determined to tear them apart. Damien will need to reveal secrets about his past that he hadn't shared with Allison and hope that they don't drive her away. Love Me is an engaging story that has a little bit of everything. There's hot romance, love, an unknown enemy, family drama and a feisty best friend. I definitely recommend both books in Kristin's TRUST series for an enjoyable read.

“Tybee Island. That’s what I was handling with Bane. I rented us a house on the beach after we left the doctor’s office. You’ll be safe, Alli, I promise. Security is already in place.”

The last statement and somber tone in his voice has me instantly pulling back from the window.

“Damien, you are the only person I feel completely safe with while this maniac is out there. I don’t worry about not being safe when I’m with you.”

He sends a quick text, and then he grabs the nape of my neck and pulls me to him. Whatever was missing is back in full force and then some as my body warms, and he begins to penetrate all my senses. The familiar haze comes over me, and the world completely begins to slide away.

I’m not even waiting for foreplay as I wrench my shirt and bra off my body. Damien’s warm mouth immediately encapsulates my breast, and I arch at the pleasure that begins to radiate down to my core, igniting a burn down there.

I need my husband shirtless now. I go to the bottom of his thermal shirt and start to pull it up. He immediately disengages from my body as he takes over, and he has it over his head and discarded in about a quarter of the time it would have taken me. In one movement, he’s picked me up and laid me out on the limo floor.

He goes for my pants and pulls them from my body. “F**k, Alli, you are beautiful.”

I try to do a seductive smile, but then his finger slides down my cleft and dips into my core. I arch off the limo floor. He undoes his pants enough to free himself, and he is on top of me immediately.

“I can’t wait. I need inside you now.”

I open my legs up in invitation and whimper at the friction as he enters me.

“Oh, Damien, please, yes. It’s been too long.”

Kristin Mayer is a wife, a proud mother, and a full-time Analyst and Import Manager. Since an early age, she has always enjoyed reading and writing. While visiting her father one weekend, he suggested that she should take up writing again. With family and a career, she didn’t give it a lot of thought, until a story entered her mind and wouldn’t leave. It just kept forming and developing over a couple of months.

At the beginning of 2013, she decided to sit down and write it all down, but she kept it to herself. One sentence developed into two, and before she knew it, she had the makings of a novel.

Kristin tries to live life to the fullest during every moment. She loves to travel and meet new people. She holds a degree in International Business and uses it daily in her job. Kristin now adds “author” on her list of jobs, and feels very blessed and thankful.

A difficult year filled with loss and heartache leaves Allison Scott withdrawn and emotionally disconnected. When she is finally ready to move forward with her life, she embarks on a getaway vacation to Miami, determined to find healing from the painful memories in her past.

Damien Wales also has a tragic past that has left him a cold and distant person. However, the moment he sees Allison, he’s inexplicably drawn to her, and he is a man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

A sunset stroll brings the two together. Allison feels an undeniable attraction to Damien, but she’s hesitant to get close to anyone. Damien will do everything he can to keep Allison in his life, but his overprotective and domineering demeanor might just push her away. When Damien’s dark past begins to collide with his present, Allison’s life is put in danger. Damien must keep her safe, but some things are just out of his control.

Trust Me is the first book in the Trust Series
