Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway - I See You by Molly McAdams

I'm so excited to be a part of Molly McAdams' blog tour for I See You. It's not your typical love triangle story. Read on for more info, the playlist, my review and a giveaway!

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Molly McAdams’ powerful new novel offers one of the most memorable love triangles in fiction since Twilight—perfect for fans of New Adult fiction like Jamie McGuire, Abbi Glines, and Tamarra Webber.
What if…
Aurora Wilde’s life feels like a series of what ifs, forks in the road, and doors unopened. What if she hadn’t gone to the party that night? What if Jentry Michaels hadn’t captured her interest, or disappeared the next day? What if Declan Veil hadn’t been there to sweep her off her feet?
And as she goes down the list to make her perfect forever, Aurora is happy with her life and a future that seems completely secure. Until, one day, suddenly it’s not. Now she’s stuck between the man who has been there for her and the one she never stopped thinking about.
As the consequences of each of her choices comes to a head, Aurora begins to realize that, sometimes, one tiny decision can ripple through a life and change everything. But when what once felt like a safe and reliable future becomes something else, will Aurora have the courage to make a final decision that could alter the course of her entire life?

He reached for me, but I shot my hand out in a silent plea for him not to. I was already shaking from keeping myself from him. I didn’t want to think about what I would do if he touched me now.
The past was standing right in front of me, begging to be seen. As if I had ever stopped seeing him. As if I had ever pulled myself from the embers of that night. That night was a dance of flames that had no ending, only respites. One touch from him and those embers would roar to life again, burning hotter and higher.
I wanted it.
I couldn’t allow it. Not now, not with everything going on.
I dropped my head and took quick steps to leave the closet, but Jentry’s arm shot out to stop me, his hand curled against my waist possessively.
“Aurora—”
“Don’t. Please don’t.”
He ignored me and pulled me against him so my side was pressed to his chest. My body trembled as those flames got higher. But with the flames that guilt grew and grew, threatening to cripple me.
“You hurt, I hurt,” he reminded me. “And, Aurora, seeing you like this and not being able to fix it is killing me. I’m sorry for what happened. I’m so damn sorry, and I’m sorry I wasn’t here sooner.” Each word was laced with pain, echoing the aches in my heart and my soul. “But you are out of your mind if you think it was easy for me not being here. I have regretted letting you go, every minute of every fucking day. If I could do that first night all over again I would, and I would’ve been there for you. I would have been here.”
The tears that had filled my eyes finally slipped free at his words and the memory of that night. “But you did let me go, and no matter how much we beg time to reverse, it won’t.”
His body deflated against mine as regret leaked from him. “No, it won’t. But I’m here now. I’m here, and we’re going to get through this.”
So much indecision and confusion wove through me. Wants and needs at war with one another as they had already been for an agonizing amount of time.
My heart had bled out through each battle until I’d made a life-changing decision, a decision that Declan and I didn’t speak of, and one that Jentry still didn’t know. Now any move I could make from here on out would be the wrong one. I was sitting in a minefield, waiting.
Just waiting.
“I tried to forget that night,” I whispered before I could stop myself. “I tried to forget you, but somehow you embedded yourself so deeply into my soul in just one night, that forgetting you—forgetting that night—was impossible. I don’t need a lifetime with you to know that no one and nothing will ever compare to what’s between us. But it’s too late for anything involving us even if it’s just us getting through this, because that night and you are now some of my biggest regrets.”

I was a little nervous about reading I See You because of past experience with a Molly McAdams’ love triangle book (Taking Chances, anyone?). But honestly, it’s not like I wasn’t going to read it. It’s Molly, for cryin’ out loud! LOL So I sucked it up, dived in and never looked back. I. Was. Hooked! Declan, Aurora and Gentry’s story is exciting, gripping and won’t let you go. Molly wove this story in a way that it will surprise you at every turn. It’s a new and refreshing take on a love triangle. Toss in a little mystery, a mother you want to hit and a whole lot of love and you’ve got one fabulous novel from Molly McAdams.

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband, daughter, and fur babies. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and fried pickles, and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm … or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.

Blog Tour & Review - Mr. President by Katy Evans

Ahhh! You have no idea how excited I am to be a part of the blog tour for Katy Evans' Mr. President. This book, definitely add it to your list. Better yet, go get it now and start reading!

He's won the hearts of millions. But is he willing to lose his?

I met the president’s son when we were both young. Matthew Hamilton was handsome, polished, and intelligent. I’d never met a guy like him.

He promised me that he’d never run for president. I promised that if he did, I’d be by his side.

Three terms later, an invitation to join Matthew Hamilton’s campaign is the most exhilarating opportunity I’ve ever experienced. I'm determined to make a difference; he is determined to win.

Focused on his goal, Matt is steadfast, ruthless, and disarming. All eyes are on him and his popularity is surging. But soon, the next possible president of the United States is possessing me in more ways than one—and despite the risks, I'm helpless to resist.

We're stealing touches, stealing moments, and stealing away at night. But our chemical connection is quickly becoming dangerously combustive, putting not only my heart, but Matt's chance at the presidency on the line.

Winning will take everything. Walking away will be the hardest thing of all.

What can I say? I’ve loved everything I’ve read by Katy Evans and Mr. President is no exception. Matt is captivating, sexy and sweet all rolled in to one. Charlotte has had a crush on Matt since the first time she met him. Never did she expect that crush to lead to working on his presidential campaign. Katy Evans makes politics exciting and sexy as we join Charlotte and Matt as they navigate the ups and downs of their attraction to each other while being in the public eye and preparing for what could happen if Matt succeeds in his run for President. Vote for Matt, vote for love! Pick up Mr. President today. You won’t be disappointed!

Release Blitz & Review - Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels

There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington.

He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I’m not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.

It proves easier said than done.

When the doctor informs me I’m the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can’t make this work, I’m gone.

The problem is—when the cards are stacked against us, and I can’t bring myself to leave him, I’ll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real . . .

I always know that when reading a Corinne Michaels book that there will be a point in the story that will tear at my heart strings. And by tear, I mean completely obliterate it. If you’ve read her, then you know. It’s why her books keep readers coming back for more. Say You Want Me met all expectations of this and more. Wyatt and Angie’s story of friends to lovers was one of the best books I’ve read this year. It will make you laugh. It will make you cry. It will make you crave cupcakes. And that point in the story that will tear at your heart strings? Be sure to have tissues and chocolate ready. You’ll need it. Say You Want Me kept me hooked from the beginning and it was totally worth the ride. I highly recommend this and any other Corinne Michaels book. Pick it up today.

Corinne Michaels is the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author of The Salvation Series and Say You'll Stay. She's an emotional, witty, sarcastic, and fun loving mom of two beautiful children. Corinne is happily married to the man of her dreams and is a former Navy wife. After spending months away from her husband while he was deployed, reading and writing was her escape from the loneliness.

Both her maternal and paternal grandmothers were librarians, which only intensified her love of reading. After years of writing short stories, she couldn't ignore the call to finish her debut novel, Beloved. Her alpha heroes are broken, beautiful, and will steal your heart.

Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway - Written In The Scars by Adriana Locke

Welcome to my little stop on the Written In The Scars blog tour! This book is amazing! Scroll on down for details, playlist, excerpt, my review and an awesome giveaway!

Falling in love is easy.

Falling out of love is the hardest thing in the world.

And Elin and Ty Whitt are terrible at it.

The first time the local basketball star smiled at Elin, she was a goner. It was just so damn easy to fall for the dark-haired hometown hero with his charming smile and strong, athletic build.

Thousands of sleepy smiles, aimless drives down country roads, and squeaks of the backdoor after a swing shift later, reality hits. And it hits hard. Falling in love was definitely the easy part. Watching it break apart was impossible.

Through the tears, the second-guesses, the memories of a life built together, the world keeps spinning. With each turn comes clarity and hope—sometimes in the form of a pair of muddy boots by the back door or from the words of a wise friend.

When Ty shows back up with a new found determination to put his family back together, Elin's torn between the fights of the past and the possibility of a new start. This is the man that holds her heart, the man she loves beyond anything else. But this is also the one person in the world that can cause her the most pain.

Life’s not always easy. Love’s not for the faint of heart. But with life comes lessons and Ty and Elin have the scars to prove it. But it's their love written in those scars that will hold them together … or break them apart.

Biting my lip, I watch him take a step towards me. Then another. Before I know it, his lips are at my ear. “Why in the world would I ever want another woman when I have you?”

I melt into him, both from his words and the relief of knowing he’s telling me the truth.  “Ty,” I breathe, walking until my back hits the cabinets. “I don’t want to tell you to stop …” Moaning as his kisses turn into soft bites against the skin at the base of my neck, my hands find his back and press him into me.

Grabbing the cabinet on either side of me, he touches his lips to mine. Working my lips over with his soft, smooth mouth, I nearly turn into a pile of mush on the floor.

My jaw slacks and he wastes no time taking full advantage. His tongue swipes the inside of my bottom lip before leisurely dragging over mine.

My hands thread together at the back of his neck. I press him towards me, wanting—needing—this connection.

He presses against me, and I feel his solidness against my belly. My core flames, an intense burst with no build-up, just a red-hot fire that flows into the apex of my thighs.

With no warning, he stills. His mouth pulls from mine, his body retracting.

“Ty?” I ask, panting. “What the hell?”

Shoving off the cabinet, he reaches behind me. I follow his hand as he draws an envelope in front of my face.

The corner of his lip is upturned, his brows shooting upwards as well. “Let’s take care of this first.”

You know when one of your favorite authors releases a book that you’re most likely going to love, but you also know that they’re going to break your heart? Yeah, Written In The Scars is just like that. Not only is it a second chance romance about Ty and Elin, who are meant to be together, but feel that they’ve reached the point where they can’t make it work anymore. It’s also a story of friendship forged in childhood, loyalty to those friends and love between a husband and wife, a group of friends, and family. Adriana Locke did a fantastic job of encompassing all of this in Written In The Scars as well as tossing in surprises and heart-stopping moments that keep you riveted until the very end. If you buy one book today, make it Written In The Scars. You will not be disappointed.

His mouth falls, his eyes leaving mine and heading across the lake to some place, some memory, some thought I’m not privy to. He slips off the back of the truck and faces the lake for a long minute. When he turns to me, he’s resigned to a decision.

“I tell the boys on my team that we don’t quit,” he says, his tone steady. “I’m always reminding them that we set our eyes on a prize and we work our tails off until we get there. Regardless of how painful, even though it might hurt, we get to the finish line.”

“Sounds like good logic,” I say, swallowing a lump that’s suddenly lodged in my throat.

“It is. In theory. But I’m rethinking it now.” He shoves his hands in his pockets and squares his shoulders up to me. “Sometimes you have to let things go. Just because you start on a path, even if you’re balls-to-the-wall at first, doesn’t mean you should stay on it. It’s less quitting, I guess, and more adjusting. Moving on to the next thing you think you want.”

He knows I’m dying for him to expound, that I’m terrified that he means he’s decided my recent rhetoric is right. Even though that’s what I’ve asked him to do, I can’t bear to hear it come out of his mouth. He knows this, yet he doesn’t go on. He waits for me to respond.

With a voice shakier than I’d like, I give in. “What are you moving on from now?”

Slowly, inch-by-inch, the corner of his mouth upturns. With every movement, every flinch, my heartbeat picks up.

“I quit pretending like I don’t know what we’re doing,” he says. “I’ve tried to ease back into this because I think that’s what you want. I’ve slept on that fucking futon in Cord’s room with that stupid dog licking me in the face every morning long enough.” He smirks, cocking a brow. “Baby, I’m coming home. If you don’t like it, too damn bad.”
