I Am Thankful For...featuring K. Bromberg

Welcome to Day 4 of my second annual "I Am Thankful" blog feature. Find out what some of your favorite book boyfriends (or girlfriends) are thankful for this holiday season.

Today we are featuring the marvelous K. Bromberg, author of the Driven series,  the Everyday Heroes series and more. Definitely check her out if you haven't met any of her swoony men.

Read on to find out what Emmy is thankful for this year and be sure to meet both her and Grant in Cuffed!

From the New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, comes a new series about three brothers, the job that calls them, and the women who challenge them.

“I hate you. I never want to see you again.”

Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville—at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade, ring in my ears every time a townsperson brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again.

Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons—sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer. But Grant is off limits because he knows too much about my past.

But I’m drawn to him. That damn uniform of his doesn’t hurt either. It’ll be my downfall. I know it.

What’s one night of sex going to hurt . . . right?

I’ve always loved Emmy Reeves.

That’s why I’m shocked to see her all these years later. The shy girl I once knew is all grown up.

Adventurous and full of life, she owns my heart now, just as much as she did back then. Convincing her of that is a whole different story.

I’ll give her the one night she asks for—like that’s a hardship—but when it comes to letting her walk away after, she has another thing coming. There’s no way in hell I’m letting her go this time without a fight.

I Am Thankful For...featuring Melanie Harlow

Welcome to Day 3 of my second annual "I Am Thankful" blog feature. Find out what some of your favorite book boyfriends (or girlfriends) are thankful for this holiday season.

Today we are featuring the fabulous Melanie Harlow, author of the Happy Crazy Love series, the Frenched series and more. Definitely check her out if you haven't met any of her swoony men.

Read on to find out what Margot is thankful for this year and be sure to grab After We Fall which is free for a limited time!

Jack Valentini isn’t my type.

Sexy, brooding cowboys are fine in the movies, but in real life, I prefer a suit and tie. Proper manners. A close shave.

Jack might be gorgeous, but he’s also scruffy, rugged, and rude. He wants nothing to do with a “rich city girl” like me, and he isn’t afraid to say so.

But I’ve got a PR job to do for his family’s farm, so he’s stuck with me and I’m stuck with him. His glares. His moods. His tight jeans. His muscles.

His huge, hard muscles.

Pretty soon there’s a whole different kind of tension between us, the kind that has me misbehaving in barns, trees, and pickup trucks. I’ve never done anything so out of character—but it feels too good to stop.

And the more I learn about the grieving ex-Army sergeant, the better I understand him. Losing his wife left him broken and bitter and blaming himself. He doesn’t think he deserves a second chance at happiness.

But he’s wrong.

I don’t need to be his first love. If only he’d let me be his last.

Release Boost - Crank by Adriana Locke

Crank is live! Scroll on down for all the details!

This is one mistake Sienna Landry can’t buy her way out of.

As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she’s in trouble. It’s not the busted headlight and dented grill that’s sunk her though. It’s the downright sinful man in front of her that’s the problem.

The small town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and gasoline and Sienna isn’t sure why that’s so sexy, but it is. It so is. She’s ready to peel off her panties at the drop of his wrench.

He wants her too. She can feel it when he brushes against her. Experience it as he presses her against the wall of the shop. It’s thinly veiled in his deep, brown eyes when he looks at her like she’s everything he’s ever wanted. So why won’t he give in?

The damage to Walker’s truck is the first of many mistakes between the two of them, ending with truths that rock Sienna’s world. Nothing can fix her broken heart except the love of a man that won’t, maybe even can’t, love her back.

Crank is a standalone romance in a new small town, blue-collar series from USA Today bestselling author Adriana Locke. Join readers everywhere as they fall in love with the delicious Gibson Boys.

Review - Sugar by Mandi Beck

Another great read from Mandi Beck! Check out all the details including a small excerpt and my review.

Country’s hottest bad boy.

That’s what they call me. My label ate it up until I became “too bad” for the good folks of country music. That’s when Hard Candy Records picked me up and took a chance on me. Probably not their smartest move, but I won’t tell them that. Especially when they’ve assigned me a babysitter to try and keep my ass out of trouble. One smart-mouthed, unimpressed, sexy as homegrown sin, Addy Mae Masterson.

She likes to pretend that she doesn’t like me and I like to let her.

I may have a past that haunts me and she may have a habit of getting attached, but damn if I don’t want to show her just how good this bad boy can be.

“Lots you can do on your knees other than pray. I’m sure the good Lord can appreciate that.” I can’t help but goad her.

“I’ll be sure to tell my daddy the preacher that the next time I see him.” She’s not amused.

Sugar is another brilliant read by Mandi Beck. Being a fan of all things country, I was excited when Mandi announced the hero of Sugar was going to be a country music bad boy. And she definitely got it right.! The chemistry between Beau and Addy Mae jumps right off the pages. A great story with all the feels that kept me hooked from the first beginning to end and characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. If you like heroes that come in the form of hot country bad boys and feisty heroines, then Sugar is definitely the book for you!

Mandi Beck has been an avid reader all of her life. A deep love for books always had her jotting down little stories on napkins, notebooks, and her hand. As an adult she was further submerged into the book world through book clubs and the epicness of social media. It was then that she graduated to writing her stories on her phone and then finally on a proper computer.

A wife, mother to two rambunctious and somewhat rotten boys, and stepmom to two great girls away at college, she shares her time with her husband and boys in Chicago where she was born and raised. Mandi is a diehard hockey fan and blames the Blackhawks when her deadlines are not met.

Witty, funny, emotional, K. Bromberg has done it again with her new release, Cuffed. Grant and Emerson's story will bring out all the feels and leave you reeling in the best way. I just can't even describe it without giving anything away and this is one you want to experience from the beginning. If you like your romance with some angst, some laughs and a whole lot of passion, be sure to pick up Cuffed!
