Release Blitz - Stay For Me by Corinne Michaels

Stay For Me by Corinne Michaels is now live!

From New York Times Bestselling author Corinne Michaels comes the final poignant love story in the Arrowood Brothers Series.

Hollywood taught me everything I know about relationships--except how to be in one. As an actor, I became an expert at faking it. Faking that I wasn't affected by my childhood. Faking that I was okay. Faking that I knew how to save the day, the girl, the whole damn world.

But I've always known the truth--I'm no one's hero.

Until I'm forced to move back to Sugarloaf for six months, and Brenna Allen offers me a chance to prove otherwise. She's everything I never knew I wanted, but can't have. Her broken heart, perfect face, and adorable children turn my world upside down. Instead of preparing for my next leading role, I'm directing a middle school play.

All to make her smile.

The more time I spend here, the more I want to stay. Build a life in this town that I swore I'd leave--for her.

But when the world comes crashing down around us, I'm forced to decide if staying for her is the right choice or if leaving is better for the woman I love.

I really don't know why I'm always surprised when one of Corinne's books brings me to tears. She is brilliant with how her story and characters evoke the emotions. Brenna and Jacob's story is full of heartache, hope, friendship and family. Stay For Me is definitely going on my favorite list. Pick it up today!

Corinne Michaels is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of romance novels. Her stories are chock full of emotion, humor, and unrelenting love, and she enjoys putting her characters through intense heartbreak before finding a way to heal them through their struggles.

Corinne is a former Navy wife and happily married to the man of her dreams. She began her writing career after spending months away from her husband while he was deployed--reading and writing were her escapes from the loneliness. Corinne now lives in Virginia with her husband and is the emotional, witty, sarcastic, and fun-loving mom of two beautiful children.

Cover Designer: Helen Williams
Cover Photographer: Rafa G. Catala

At first, the request seemed simple—sign a new athlete to the agency.
Then I found out the new athlete was none other than the most wanted man in hockey today: Hunter Maddox

Gifted. Sexy. At the top of his game. And the only man who has ever broken my heart.
If signing him will help save our family business, I’ll swallow my pride and do what’s asked.

But when it becomes clear his uncharacteristic antics off the ice are a hint of something deeper, keeping things strictly professional between us becomes more than complicated.

But I know better than to cross that line.

I’ll never date a client. Not even for him.

***
Win the Stanley Cup and do it before time runs out.

Not a small feat, but it’s what’s motivated me since the start of my career.

And time is running out.

Enter Dekker Kincade.

Feisty. Dogged. Damn gorgeous. The one I let get away.

I have no idea why she’s traveling with the team, but hell if resisting her is going to be easy.

But I have a job to do, and I refuse to lose sight of that end game. Even if she confuses me. Even if she sees parts of me I’ve hidden from the world.

I can’t lose focus. Not even for her.

If you like emotional stories about hockey players and sports agents, then this is the book for you. Hard To Handle wrenches out feelings from page one. You'll fall in love with Hunter and Dekker and their story. Bring the tissues!

Chapter One

How much do you cost?”
“Pardon me?” Allie St. James, Private Investigator, glanced from the open file to the scruffy male silhouetted in her office doorway.
Great. Another client who couldn’t pay. More than her services, he looked like he needed an ice pack and a new pair of jeans. He also lacked a few front teeth, but then what elementary school kid didn’t?
What am I gonna have to pay you?” The gap-toothed boy shuffled into her cluttered workspace, the glass door smacking him on the bottom as it closed.
“Well, that depends.” Her boardwalk mall agency attracted an odd assortment of wander-in clientele, but this one took the prize. For safety’s sake, she would play it through, discover who his parents were, then chew them out for allowing their son to roam the streets of Fort Walton Beach, Florida unsupervised.
Allie tossed aside the file, just missing the lopsided pile of unfinished billing. Palms flat against the edge of her desk, she pushed to her feet. “I’ll need some information first, like your name.”
“Oh, uhm.” He inched further inside, his tennis shoes squeaking against cracked tiles. “Robbie. Uhm, I mean Robert. Robert Larson.”
“Hello, Robert. I’m Allie St. James.”
He chewed his bottom lip indecisively while tracing the grouting with his toe. Rush hour traffic honked and roared past as she sized up her prospective client. He must be around seven or eight, like her youngest nephew. Robbie’s white blond hair shone, the chili-bowl style cut glistening with health. New high topsVideo gamesticking out of his backpack.
The little guy came from money in spite of the busted knee on his jeans. Possibly a neglected rich kid? Plenty of parents substituted toys for attention. She could identify with that. After all, she’d lived it with her own father. Her old man may have been prompt with his child support payments, but his time had been in short supply.
The boy looked ready to bolt out the door. She had to get him talking, fast. Allie snagged a note pad from her middle drawer. “Why do you need to hire me, Robbie, uh, Robert?”
Prepared for his pitiful saga of a missing Spot, she perched a hip on the corner of her gunmetal gray desk. Maybe a playground bully had stolen his book-order money. That would explain the black eye and torn jeans. Her foot swung a lazy dance above the overflowing trash can while she waited.
“Somebody’s trying to kill my dad.”

Blog Tour - Girl Long Gone by Danielle M. Haas

Monica’s stomach fluttered with excitement as she told the interesting man she’d been flirting with online for weeks all about her weekend plans. He was a great match, and they had so many things in common. But sometimes your life can come down to one single bad decision…

NYPD Computer-crimes detective Connor Mitchel’s sister is missing. As he combs through his sister’s life, he realizes Monica might not have been this killer’s first target—or his last. In a twisted game of cat and mouse, Connor thinks he’s finally found the man responsible for his sister’s disappearance. Unfortunately, he’ll first need to convince the shy, distrustful Evelyn Price she could be the next victim tangled in the murderer’s web if she doesn’t agree to help him catch the killer. But just as Connor and Evelyn close in on their quarry, the killer has one last trick up his sleeve that could trap them all…

He lunged for her waist, wrapping his arms around her and twisting to pin her onto the floor. Wide eyes stared up at him. He hovered over her, placing his flattened palms on either side of her head. Coming to his knees, he locked eyes with her and grinned. “What about now? How would you get away from me?”

“I…I don’t know.” Her smirk slid into a frown.

“Wrap your legs around my waist.” Lust thickened his throat, and his pulse pounded.

 “Are you serious?”

The uncertainty in her voice made him laugh. “Just do it.”

She wrapped her legs around his waist and the heat of her center pressed into his growing hard-on. Christ, how could he control himself when nothing but thin material separated them?

Her breasts molded against him. God, this was torture. He could do this. “I’m going to put my hands on your neck as if I wanted to choke you, okay?”

Evelyn nodded, her body still beneath his.

He positioned his hands on either side of her slender neck. “Lock your arms around my elbows and push down. Bring your legs over my shoulders and thrust your hips upward. The harder you thrust your hips, the more pressure you put on my arms—most likely breaking them if you put all your strength behind it.”

“I don’t want to hurt you.”

He smiled. “Just let go as soon as I fall off. Same thing as before, though. In a real-life situation, you hit a vulnerable place as hard as you can, then run.”

Hesitation slowed her movements as she went through the steps. He tried like hell not to lower his mouth to hers. Her legs came to his shoulders and pressed her center even closer to him. The smell of her invaded his senses, nearly knocking him off-balance.

“Keep going,” he said, his jaw clenched and muscles tight. He deserved a medal for not stripping her naked in the middle of the gym.

She thrust her hips upward, his elbows buckled, and he winced. Evelyn loosened her hold, raising her arms to loop around his neck instead. Her legs slid back to the ground, and red stained her cheeks. “Are we done?”

Desire constricted his throat. He nodded, his gaze traveling from her wide eyes to her full lips.

Evelyn pulled him down until his body crushed hers against the mat. He braced himself on his forearms so he wouldn’t hurt her, but he wanted to be closer…much closer. “I’m ready to get out of here.”

The purr of her words had him searching her eyes for answers. Maybe it was just wishful thinking that made her statement sound like a suggestion.

He pushed against his forearms, but she tightened her grip and kept him in place. She moved her hands down his back, dipped them under his shirt, and skimmed the tips of her fingers along his skin. He closed his eyes as every nerve in his body sparked to life.

“Look at me,” Evelyn whispered.

He opened his eyes and gazed down at her. Her now loose hair swept around her and sweat clung to her skin. Pink stained her cheeks and heat smoldered in her eyes, turning the light brown the color of melted chocolate.

“I want you to see me when I tell you exactly what I want. When I tell you I want you.”

Her words squeezed his heart, and he cupped her cheek with his hand, grazing the pad of his thumb across the corner of her mouth. “You’re sure?”

A smile slid across her face, and his erection throbbed against her. If she wasn’t sure, he’d need a cold shower before they left. She lifted her head until her mouth pressed against his. Her tongue parted his lips and invaded his mouth. She tasted so damn good. Evelyn kept her arms locked around his neck but broke apart their kiss. “I’ve never been surer of anything in my life. Let’s get out of here.”

Danielle M. Haas is a new to me author. Romantic suspense is one of the genres I like to read but I'm very picky. The synopsis of Girl Long Gone was intriguing, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. It was a good story that I enjoyed from the start. I recommend it if you're a fan of romantic suspense.

Danielle grew up with a love of reading, partly due to her namesake—Danielle Steele. It seemed as though she was born to write out the same love stories she devoured while growing up. She attended Bowling Green State University with a dream of studying creative writing, but the thought of sharing her work in front of a group of strangers was enough to make her change her major to Political Science. After college she moved across the state of Ohio with her soon-to-be husband. Once they married and had babies, she decided to stay home and raise her children. Some days her sanity slipped further across the line to crazy town so she decided to brush off her rusty writing chops and see what happened. Danielle now spends her days running kids around, playing with her beloved dog, and typing as fast as she can to get the stories in her head written down. She loves to write contemporary romance with relatable characters that make her readers’ hearts happy, as well as fast-paced romantic suspense that leaves them on the edge of their seats. Her story ideas are as varied and unpredictable as her everyday life.

Cover Reveal - Thoroughly Whipped by Tillie Cole

Check out the cover for Tillie Cole's upcoming release, Thoroughly Whipped.

Release Date: 9th June
Genre: Romantic ~Comedy

Cover by: Murphy Rae Designs & Ashley Illustrations

I, Faith Parisi, love my life. I have the best job—resident sex-advice diva for Visage magazine—I have the best friends, and I live in the best city in the world. Things are pretty damn fabulous. That is, until Henry “Harry” Sinclair III comes crashing back into my world like a bad case of herpes.

I hate the way Harry’s lip curls in contempt whenever he sees me. I hate his bright blue eyes and those inexplicably offensive dimples. I hate his stuffy English accent and the stick that’s permanently jammed up his aristocratic ass. More than anything, I hate that he’s now my boss.

But my professional prospects start to look up when a chance at writing Visage’s big summer feature falls into my lap. Success won’t be easy. I’ll need to let go of all my inhibitions—not that I have that many of those—and jump, stiletto heels first, into a hedonistic new world. An exclusive, secretive world, filled with leather, latex, and Manhattan’s elite.

Pulling this off will take every ounce of daring I have, and every ounce of focus. I can’t afford to get distracted by anything, least of all my new boss, his arrogant mouth, or the way the ice between us seems to be slowly melting away…
