New Release and Review - Passion by Molly McAdams

Passion by Molly McAdams is out now!! This is the first book in her Secrets in L.A. series.

There are moments in our lives that can change the course we’re on.
I believe when faced with those moments, we should take the unknown path. The risk.
The excitement, the opportunity, the love . . .

The night I stumbled into a burlesque club in downtown Los Angeles, I took one of those paths and changed my life.
I found a home I’d never had with my own parents.
I found a confidence I’d never known as a prima ballerina.
I found my passion.

And it inadvertently led me back to the one moment I’d let slip away—to him.
To a love so pure and whole and carnal, I thought it could withstand anything.

But I’m not the only one with secrets.
And now, all those chosen paths are crumbling around me.

If I had to pick one word to describe this book, it would be intriguing. From the start I was drawn into Adam and Hollis's story and just needed to know who they were and what was Adam doing and why?! Molly is great at writing those stories that make you not want to do anything but keep reading. A great story to kick off her Secrets in L.A. Series. Be sure to grab it!!

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband, daughter, and fur baby. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach . . . which roughly translates to being a homebody and dishing out movie quotes with her hubby. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and loves curling up in a fluffy blanket during a thunderstorm . . . or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.

Review - The Mixtape by Brittainy Cherry

The Mixtape is live and you want to add it to your to be read list!

Since the death of his twin brother, Oliver’s caught between pleasing his fans and finding himself. Emery finds him first.

Emery has never felt more alone. Raising her daughter is both her pleasure and her pain as she struggles to hold on to her job as a bartender and keep a roof over their heads. With no one to help them—no support system—any unexpected expense or late bill could turn their whole world upside down.

Reeling from the death of his twin brother and bandmate, rock star Oliver Smith is trying to drink his problems away. Apparently he isn’t very good at it; they follow him wherever he goes. Also in hot pursuit are the paparazzi, who catch Oliver at his lowest low.

He could have walked into any bar in California, but he walked into hers. Emery helps Oliver lose the crowd, and they find themselves alone: two people whose paths are marked with loss and pain. However, they hold an unshakable hope for healing. They find solace together, but can their love withstand the world?

Oliver and Emery's story is about two people finding each other during difficult times in their lives. Emery, a struggling single mom, helps Oliver one night at the bar she's working. She soon comes to realize her good deed comes with consequences. When Oliver finds out he offers to help. Spending more time together, soon Emery and Oliver are getting closer. Toss in a precocious child, an ex, friends and family, and you've got an emotional, heartbreaking and hopeful story that will leave you glued to the pages. I highly recommend The Mixtape and I'm hoping a couple of other characters get their own stories because I'd love to see more of them. Seriously, go grab it!

Brittainy Cherry has been in love with words since the day she took her first breath. She graduated from Carroll University with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Creative Writing.

She loves to take part in writing screenplays, acting, and dancing--poorly of course. Coffee, chai tea, and wine are three things that she thinks every person should partake in!

Brittainy lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

When she's not running a million errands and crafting stories, she's probably playing with her adorable pets.
