1. Jackson's name originally was Josh... until I saw the names Drake & Josh together and said no way! (anyone get the TV show reference???)

2. Hit the Wall was supposed to be the third book in the Blythe College series, but Jackson just wouldn't wait for his turn!

3. Yes, Aubrey & Jackson have two older brothers... who I almost missed mentioning completely until my mom caught it in her beta read.

4. Hit the Wall was uploaded to Kindle from the Atlanta airport while I was on my way home from fangirling at Wicked Book Weekend.

 

5. Shhh, don't tell anyone but Sasha was originally going to be a reformed heroine in this book. She wasn't cooperating & then Kaylie stormed next door and that was that for Jackson.

 

 

 

 Ah, Jackson! I kinda loved him. :) When Kaylie first meets him by interrupting an argument between him and Sasha (who we don't like) she is intrigued by him, even with his reputation as a player. Jackson is drawn to Kaylie in a way he never has been to a woman before. Before long they are exploring the attraction between them and seeing where it can lead. Hit The Wall is Rochelle Paige's second book in her Blythe College series. It kept me hooked from the first page. Kaylie, Jackson and all of their friends are a fun group of people who just make the book that much better. I would definitely recommend Jackson's story and the series. I look forward to reading the rest of the series as it's released.

I knew the second I saw them together that I had waited too long. He wanted her, and I couldn’t blame him. She was hot. Lots of guys wanted her. But it was the way she looked at him that got to me. Her eyes lit up any time he was near, and she’d get this look on her face. Like he was the only thing she could see. I tried to tell myself that it was only a fling and that it was a good sign. She was ready for a relationship again. I just had to wait until Drake messed up before I could finally have Lex. But when it came down to it, I just couldn’t do it. “What the f***?!” I heard as the door was thrown open. My jaw dropped at the sight of Jackson Silver in Sasha’s room. I never would have thought he had it in him to care enough about any woman to get into a shouting match with her the way he blew through all the girls on campus, except maybe his sister and her best friend. Not that I didn’t totally get why so many girls went crazy over him with his tousled blond hair, wicked blue eyes and insanely hot body. But he was the epitome of love ‘em and leave ‘em, never spending more than a few nights with the same one.
