Release Day, Review & Giveaway - Capturing Peace by Molly McAdams

Molly McAdams has a new book out!!! I'm sure there's no need to tell you how excited I am about it. I've got a review and a couple of giveaways for you, so be sure to read all the way through to see everything!

Coen Steele has spent the last five years serving his country. Now that he's back, he's finally ready to leave behind the chaos of the battlefield and pursue his lifelong dream. What he wasn't expecting was the feisty sister of one of his battle buddies—who has made it obvious that she wants nothing to do with him—to intrigue him in a way no woman has before.

Reagan Hudson's life changed in the blink of an eye six years ago when she found out she was pregnant and on her own. Since then, Reagan has vowed never to let another man into her life so that no one can walk out on her, or her son, again. But the more she runs into her brother's hot and mysterious friend, the more he sparks something in her that she promised herself she wouldn't feel again.

Can two people with everything to lose allow themselves to finally capture the love they both deserve?

After a devastating break up with her high school love, Reagan has spent the last six years raising her son, Parker, and not letting anyone get close to them for fear of being hurt. Coen has just gotten out of the military and is settling into civilian life and pursuing his dream of being a professional photographer, while dealing with the emotional demons that haunt him from his time while serving.

Emotional. Exhilarating. Beautiful. Heartbreaking. Those are just a few words I would choose to describe Capturing Peace. I really don’t know how Molly does it (and if you’re reading this Molly, I freakin’ love you!). Every emotion that Coen, Reagan, Parker and the others felt just flew right off the pages– every laugh, every cry, every heartbreak. It was as if I were experiencing it right along with them. Coen - haunted, talented, fascinating. Reagan – fierce, loyal, determined to protect her son. I just can’t even tell you how much I loved their story. You will have to experience it for yourself, but I will tell you that you won’t be disappointed.

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm ... or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.

Mollypalooza Day 5

Welcome to Mollypalooza!! There will be something different every day to celebrate the release of Deceiving Lies and the awesomeness that is Molly McAdams. And without further ado, today's schedule...

Since everyone else let me question them all week, I figured it was only fair that I answer the questions myself.

How did you meet Molly? - I started following Molly on Facebook after Taking Chances started popping up everywhere. I hadn't read it yet. By following her, I kept seeing people post about TC and that it made readers ugly cry and all that. Made me a bit nervous about reading it, but one day it followed me home from Target and I finished it in one sitting. From then on, I was hooked on her books.

What's your favorite Molly book? - I love all of them, but if I was forced to pick it would be Forgiving Lies. There's just something about Kash and Rachel's story that I love.

What's your favorite thing about Molly? - There isn't any one thing. Molly is such a great person. Her posts never fail to cheer me up if I'm having a bad day. She doesn't blink an eye when I send her random out of the blue questions like what's your favorite color or when I proclaim that Kash is mine. LOL

Molly - Thank you for being you and for sharing your characters and their stories with us! I can't wait to see you and hug you again! <3

Today's featured is Capturing Peace. This is Molly's upcoming novella featuring Coen Steele and Reagan Hudson. Molly's inspiration for Coen is Tyler Seielstad, who is one pretty awesome photographer. You can see his work by visiting his photography page on Facebook. Click here.
