For Scarlet, raising her two daughters alone means fighting for tomorrow is an everyday battle. Zombies. They are so not my thing. I don’t understand the
appeal or why everyone is so fascinated with them. In light of this, while I absolutely
LOVED Jamie McGuire’s Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster, I was leery
about reading a book about a zombie apocalypse. But I was determined (even if
it took me way longer than I normally take to read a book.)
While I am still not a zombie fan (Sorry Jamie!), I did
enjoy Red Hill very much. It’s a well-written, engaging story that even made me
cry a few times. It’s a story of survival, determination, love and hope for the
future. It will keep you wondering what’s going to happen next with every new
twist. It’s definitely worth the read.
